I'm all about embracing whatever the weather wants to dish out! Especially for my work that's Hawaii-based one thing that you should know is that Hawaii weather forecast is very unreliable. The weather here is quickly changing and the forecast can often be false. So it's very rare that I actually cancel a shoot due to weather purposes. Of course, if the weather forecast is somehow extreme or could put us in danger I’m not about to risk our safety or the safety of my gear. But, I'm not scared of a little sprinkle and have even dreamed of shooting a couple in the dumping rain. If that kind of gives you an idea of where I stand on this haha. I also recognize that a large portion of my clients are traveling to the islands which makes it a little bit harder to reschedule. But, of course, if there is flexibility to reschedule or a chance of better weather I'm always for it. Otherwise, we just go for it!

All of my packages only include light retouching. Basically what that means is that will only edit out things that are temporary. That would include things like blemishes, bruises or some minor sunburns. Things that may have occurred on or before the day of our shoot that wouldn't otherwise be there. Otherwise, I won’t be doing any major alterations on your face or body. I’m a big self-love promoter and this would totally defeat the purpose of that! I will also occasionally take out background distractions when I see fit.

Heck yeah! I’d love to! For Hawaii shoots, I understand that most of my couples inquiring don't actually live in Hawaii so of course, I love to help you out with my knowledge of the island. I usually ask for vague styles of locations you enjoy and work off of that to give you some killer options. When it comes to shoots off-island or in a new place for me, I do lots of research to make sure a place could be a good fit for us!

So once we've gotten to know each other a bit and are feeling comfy about all the other logistics I’ll go ahead and send you a proposal! Within the proposal, you'll find the details at the package we've chosen, a contract for you to look over and sign and finally a place to make payments. I require a 25% deposit to lock our date in. The last payment is due closer to our time together! For Couple sessions, 3 days before and for weddings, 2 weeks before.

As I dig deeper into my wedding work it has led me to turn away family sessions. Ahhh it breaks my heart having to say no to such awesome people and families! But, I know I want you to have a photographer that is truly passionate about family sessions. You deserve that and since I know my focus has shifted I want you to have someone more excited in this area!

All my clients receive their photos as an Online Gallery! This looks like your own little photo website where you can view and download your images! This gallery is guaranteed to be open to you for 3 months after our shoot. After that 3 months, you are responsible for keeping your own images safe. If you’d like to see what an Online Gallery looks like I’ve made a sample

Nope. This is half the magic! When you pay for my packages, that includes my edits and I don’t like to separate this part of my work from the final product. Sorry, I don’t give discounts for giving unedited images.

The earliest I’m currently booking is 18 months in advance. If you want to inquire earlier than 18 months in advance I'd love to talk with you still! We can at least get talking about what you are wanting and what your big day will look like!
